The short version: we don't track you, we don't sell anything about you, and the app only talks to the internet when it has to.

Download Manager is made by Threefold, a small software studio based in Canada. If you have any question about your data, email support@threefoldapps.com.
This website has no adverts, no analytics and no tracking cookies. It's hosted by Cloudflare, which processes basic technical information such as your IP address to deliver the pages and protect the site from attacks. We don't use that information to identify you.
Purchases are handled by Lemon Squeezy, which acts as the reseller and processes your payment. We never see your card details. Lemon Squeezy shares with us what we need to support you: your name, email address, country and order details.
Download Manager doesn't collect analytics, usage statistics or crash reports, and it doesn't keep a record of what you download anywhere but on your own Mac. It connects to the internet only to:
The browser extension only talks to the Download Manager app on your own Mac. When you download from a site you're signed in to, it hands that site's sign-in cookies to the app so the download works the same way it would in your browser. They stay on your Mac and are only sent back to that same website. The extension doesn't send your browsing anywhere else.
If you email support, we keep the conversation so we can help you. We'll delete it if you ask.
You can ask us at any time what information we hold about you, to correct it, or to delete it. Email support@threefoldapps.com and we'll reply within 30 days.
